Actve Games Contest

Terms and Conditions

1. “Active account status” means a positive account balance in your Subscriber Account, on the date of the Contest, that what has been stated herein below.
2. “Valid entry” means a code sent via sms by You in the correct prescribed format.
3. “Weekly Contest” means a new Contest which opens at 11:00 hours every day and closes at 10:59 hours next week during the contest

1. The Contest is open ONLY to Tata Sky subscribers who have subscribed to the Actve Games Pack and have an Active Account Status, as defined above.
2. The following persons  are not eligible to participate in this Contest:
1. Employees and relatives of :
   (a) Tata Sky and
   (b)  Hungama and its affiliates
2. Tata Sky business associates including its dealers and advertising agencies and
3. Anyone else who may be involved with the Contest.
3. Tata Sky reserves the right, at any time, to verify eligibility requirements, of the Participant, in any manner deemed appropriate at its sole discretion. Only a Valid entry with correct answers to the questions will be eligible for selection for the prize.
4. You must (i) be a resident of India (ii) be above 18 years of age (iii) have a valid PAN card and (iv) have a Subscriber Account with an Active account status, as defined above,  to qualify and participate in the Contest.

1. The Contest features a quiz containing six questions for a week which shall feature on the Actve Games interactive service on Tata Sky.
2. To participate in the Contest, You must answer the questions posted weekly featured on Actve Games by pressing the Actve Button on your Tata Sky Remote. 6 questions would be generated which must be answered by you. Upon answering the questions, a code will be generated on your TV screen. You must send this code by sms to 56633.
3. Regular Telecom rates apply for every SMS that you send i.e. Tata Sky will not charge you premium rates for any SMS that you sent. You will need to check with your telecom operator for regular SMS rates that are applicable to you on the participation Date.

4. For each of the weekly Contests, from the pool of correct entries received, twenty winners will be selected nationally via a computer generated selection process under the supervision of a special panel.
5. Twenty winners will be selected post the contest period from all the correct entries received.
6. A participant can win only one prize during the Contest Period.
7. The results generated by the panel will be final and binding.

1. The prizes are not exchangeable for cash or any other offer. 
2. The winners shall be contacted via phone at the phone number mentioned in the Subscription Contract/ registered with the Company.
3. Tata Sky shall also send a letter to each of the winners at the address mentioned in the Subscription Contract / registered with the Company requesting for a list of documents to be presented by the winner to claim the prize. Non-submission of all necessary documents shall lead to disqualification of the winner and an alternative winner shall be chosen thereafter. 
4. If Tata Sky is not able to contact the winner at the phone number or the address mentioned in the Subscription Contract / number and address registered with the Company, by midnight of seven days after Tata Sky’s first attempted notification declaring the winner, Tata Sky  reserves the right to select an alternative winner and the original winner's entitlement to the prize will lapse automatically, without any further reference to You.
5. Prizes:
1. The Prize will be 20 boxing kits for 20 winners during this week
2. The prize will be sent by courier within 30 working days from the date of receipt of the documents requested from the winner.
3. Tata Sky shall not be liable for any defect or deficiency in the prize or for damage caused to the prize during delivery or for delayed delivery. You acknowledge that the prizes are provided on an “as is basis”.

1. You can participate in any one or all of the Contests during the contest period  
2. You may send as many entries as you wish.
3. You must send your entry by sms to 56633.
4. SMS rates, to be borne by you, will be applicable as per the tariff of Your mobile service provider.
5. SMS entries for the Contest period sent after the closure of the Contest will not be considered.
6. The Company shall be responsible only for the Prize to be given to the winner of the contest. Taxes, if any that are applicable shall be borne by the Winner alone. You agree to indemnify Tata Sky against any claims incurred by Tata Sky on account of failure on your part to discharge your tax liabilities with respect to the prize.
7. Any participant who manipulates the Contest in any manner whatsoever shall be liable for disqualification at the sole discretion of Tata Sky. In such an event Tata Sky shall not be liable to consider even a Valid entry sent by the subscriber thereafter.
8. Tata Sky reserves the right at anytime, without prior notice, to add or vary all or any of these terms and conditions or to replace, wholly or in part this Contest or to withdraw it completely.
9. Tata Sky will have the right to use the image of the winners in any promotional material. By entering the Contest, You agree that in the event you are selected as the winner, You shall participate in any promotional activity(ies) and/or have Your name and likeness featured in any promotional material as Tata Sky may require.
10. Tata Sky will not be liable for any loss, damage or cancellation of this Contest caused by events beyond its reasonable control including war, natural calamities, floods, failure of telecommunication network, etc.
11. You consent to comply with these  terms and conditions and waive any right to claim ambiguity in these terms and conditions and release, indemnify and hold harmless Tata Sky and its respective affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and its respective agents, representatives, officers, directors, shareholders and employees from and against any injuries, losses, damages, claims, actions, or any liability of any kind resulting from or arising from participation in the Contest including but not limited to any use or misuse of the prize by the winner.
12. You acknowledge and agree that all disputes in relation to the Contest shall be subject to Mumbai jurisdiction.
13. Tata Sky is not responsible for printing or typographical errors in any Contest related materials; or for transactions that are lost, misdirected, fail to enter into the processing system, or are processed, reported, or transmitted late or incorrectly or are lost for any reason including computer, telephone, paper transfer, mail system, human or other error; or for electronic, computer, or telephonic malfunction or error.
14. The Contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law, and is subject to all applicable mandatory national, state and local laws.
