What are TruChoice Genre-based Channel Packages?
Tata Sky now offers channel packages in a simplified format. Channels are grouped together based on genre, so now you can choose only those channels that you wish to watch.

Who all can avail of TruChoice Packages?
The TruChoice Packaging will be available for all new activations post 11 Oct 2010. Existing subscribers (all activations till 11 Oct'10) can retain their current package structure. Moving to TruChoice packages is left to your discretion.

Why this new TruChoice based packaging?
As the name suggests the packs allows you TruChoice! If you prefer watching entertainment, instead of looking at multiple packs to fulfil your entertainment quota, Tata Sky has now grouped the channels together thereby making package selection easier for you.

When I move to TruChoice Packages, the number of channels in my new package decreases?
While the TruChoice packaging offers you complete choice of choosing genre, it also gives you flexibility to drop the channels that you do not watch. It offers you depth if content thereby making your TV viewing a richer experience. Thus channel count is not really reflective of what you watch. Getting complete choice is key. This is where TruChoice makes a clear difference. i.e. if you like watching English Movies, with one English Movie pack, get all English movie channels that are available on Tata Sky.

I am an existing subscriber. Can I avail of TruChoice Packages?
Yes. You can move to the TruChoice packaging structure. But once you change to TruChoice, you cannot go back to the old packages that you had. i.e. if you are on Super Saver you can move to Supreme Pack, however you will not be able to change from Supreme Pack back to Super Saver.

How can subscribers change their Pack structure?
Existing subscribers will have to call the helpline or log on to www.mytatasky.com to change their structure. You can also contact your local dealer for assistance

Where can I get information on channels and packages?

I have recently bought Cosmo Pack on Tata Sky and have not completed the 30 days lock-in. Can I change my package to TruChoice?
The TruChoice packaging is available to all subscribers. Even if you have not completed the minimum lock-in on the current structure, you may move to the TruChoice Packaging. However note, once you have selected any Add-On pack on TruChoice, your 30-day lock-in sets in from then on.

I am an existing PVR subscriber with a Tata Sky+ & want to change over to TruChoice Packages. Of course you can. But please note that on changing to TruChoice you will not be able to view the content previously recorded on your PVR. Of course once you have moved to TruChoice you can begin recording again & view them too.

Is there any other change on moving to TruChoice?
No not at all. All other services continue just the way they have been on Tata Sky.

I have subscribed to Actve English & I move to TruChoice. Will I continue to get Actve English?
Yes, of course.

Fun Learning, Actve English, Actve Games, Topper & Annual Mega Pack continue even in the TruChoice packs.

I have just completed my term on the Mega Pack. What happens to me now?
There is no change at all. You will continue to get all the channels & may simply renew your subscription to the Mega Pack.
